Are small clumps normal for the Liver Powder Plus+?

Yes! Proteins are naturally sticky. The added yeast extract makes this product a little "stickier" than our other two liver powder toppers.

 

The Liver Powder Plus+ will naturally "clump" a little in the jar, but the product clumps are easily dispersed by using a utensil to break them up. 

Are any of the liver powders hydrolyzed?

Yes — Chicken Liver Powder is a hydrolyzed product, which may be helpful for some pets with sensitivities.

 

The Liver Powder Plus+ and Pork Liver Powder are not hydrolyzed.

 

If your cat or dog has a history of food sensitivities or allergies, your veterinarian can help determine which option is most appropriate.

Are Liver Powder Toppers safe for cats with allergies or sensitivities?

My cats definitely like the addition of Liver Pweder Plis+ on their wet and dry food. Sometimes they eat fine, others I get stared at until I add the topper and then they dive in. Their message is clear.

good ingreds but not one cat would eat it.

Like ingred's list (sounded healthy and natural) so I bought Liver Powder Plus, Chicken Liver Plus, and Calm product. I have 3 indoor cats and 6 outdoor strays, and when I sprinkled any one of these on food, not a single cat would eat it.
(lost a ton of money on all three products).

Can not recommend enough

Originally purchased for my foster kittens who were questioning my parenting abilities when starting the process of weaning them from formula/wet food slurry to just wet food. Just a little sprinkle and they were sold.

A few days later my very picky hound dog decided she no longer liked her dry food or the wet food topper. (Seriously though, how do I keep finding all these picky beans?!?) This was the 4th or 5th idea that she pretty quickly was uninterested with. I’ve been putting a sprinkle of the topper powder on for months and it has yet to lose her interest!!! But I better not forget it because she’ll make sure to remind me!

From picky dogs, to sassy senior cats, to hesitant kittens, this topper powder has yet to fail me. Has even worked to cover lysine powder when a foster cat/kitten has a herpes infection/flare.

Seriously, thank you for this versatile product!

Powder is great for sprinkling on the cats food, especially when they don’t seem to like it very much. It helps and often times they will eat something that they would normally walk away from like the fact that they’re getting some nutrition and still. Getting a boost flavor
