What makes Calm effective? How does it work?

• Our product is formulated to be non-drowsy and non-sedative.

• The two active ingredients, Vit B1 (Thiamine) and L-Theanine, work together to support the nervous system and brain function.

• Vit B1 (Thiamine) is an essential vitamin for cats and dogs. They do not produce this vitamin on their own, so it is essential for them to get it through their diet.

  Thiamine is often referred to as the anti-stress vitamin and plays an important role in nerve signaling. It’s a critical component of brain energy and neurotransmitter production, especially in the synthesis of acetylcholine. Acetylcholine stimulates muscle control and behavior and is a key requirement for memory and cognition.

• L-Theanine has been demonstrated to be a great supportive precursor to important neurotransmitters creating a positive balance of GABA, serotonin and dopamine.

• Both of these ingredients are found normally in a cat and dog’s diet. However, it is believed that, due to environmental and/or diet factors, some animals require higher amounts to support a positive calming balance.

We blend our active ingredients with Chicken Liver Powder to make it tasty so that cats and dogs can easily enjoy it with their normal meal!

Active Ingredients per scoop

• B1 (Thiamine HCl) — 50 mg

• L-Theanine — 25 mg

Inactive Ingredients

• Spray Dried Chicken Liver Powder

• Mixed Tocopherols (Vit E)

1 Serving = 1 Level Scoop (1/8 tsp)

Using the included measuring scoop, sprinkle the powder on top of or mix into food:

Cats and Small Dogs under 40 pounds

• 1 level scoop once per day

Large Dogs over 40 pounds

• 2 level scoops once per day

Best results achieved with daily doses. May take up to 15 days to see full effects.

After 15 days, if results are not as desired, increase servings to 2x per day.

In situations of know possible stress (ex: moving, Vet visits, visitors, etc.) give 2 servings 2 hours before stressful event.
